Taster Sessions
For prospective members who are unsure about whether our u3a is what they are looking for we can offer two taster sessions. These can be either:-
- Two visits to monthly meetings
- One visit to each of two different groups
- Or a combination of one monthly meeting visit and one group visit.
Following this you will need to join and pay your annual subscription to access any further meetings.
You will be expected to pay the £1 fee if a group you attend is held in a rented venue.
There is no need let us know in advance if you are coming to a monthly meeting but if you would like to attend a group meeting as a visitor then you will need to contact that group’s convenor, by email using the relevant contact link on the Groups Page, before attending as there may be obstacles to be clear on and sometimes it may not be possible because of health & safety or other issues which must be complied with. Please also refer to the descriptions about groups on the Groups Page and make sure you tell the convenor that you are not a member but would like to have a taster session in their group. Don't be put off if this is not possible but contact General Enquiries to find how we can help.
