We believe that it's not being old that stops you doing things;
it's stopping doing things that makes you old!
Could Wellington u3a be right for me?
Well let's find out!
First ask yourself -
- What do I want or expect from life now I am no longer working full-time?
- Would I like to broaden my range of interests and activities or try something new?
- Do I want to remain active?
- Do I often have time on my hands which I would like to fill productively?
- Do I sometimes feel lonely or bored?

Anything ring a bell? Then read on!
Would you like to:-
- Meet up with friends and make new ones
- Share ideas & knowledge with others in a friendly, relaxed way
- Develop the passion & enthusiasm you have for whatever interests you
- Find inspiration for new ideas, hobbies and experiences
- Enjoy a variety of social activities
If YES, then maybe NOW is YOUR TIME to join u3a
Come with us and explore a world of new experiences - there are no strangers here; only friends you haven't met yet!
Across the UK, and here in Wellington u3a, members are discovering new things, staying active and having fun in later life by coming together to socialise and learn, not for qualifications, but for its own reward; the sheer joy of discovery.
It’s local, social, friendly, accessible and low-cost.
Come along to one of our monthly meetings and “try before you buy”. You may attend two of these taster sessions before you need to pay your annual subscription so please go to the Events page for details of our monthly get-togethers.
We are a self-help, self-funded charity run by the members for the members where everybody works together for the benefit of all.
Most u3a activities are in the form of "Interest Groups". You can check them out via our Groups page to find out more and see if any spark your interest. There are some new groups forming right now, so please let us know what you are looking for by getting in touch in an email to General Enquiries.
