This new group are meeting in the small room adjacent to the hall at Wellington Rugby Club on the Wednesday following the General Monthly Meeting. The aim is for all the members to bring anything from family heirlooms to items and articles found to show and discuss on topics pertaining to the Victorian Age. A theme will also be chosen each month to aim for and occasional screen presentations will form part of the proceedings.
The first meeting covered the very important aspects of travel during this period from the simple dog cart to the steam train and even London's Underground which is older than we all realised!
